NERONE
Nerone is a graffiti artist from France - he spent much of his youth growing up in Bordeaux and Paris, and now lives permanently in London. His murals take on a floral character with a bright, colourful, almost fluorescent edge.
What's your current style / perspective / taste? Do you have a project that represents this?
"My work is very much inspired by the energy and vivid atmosphere of the street. The vibrancy of the city and its crazy nightlife, with the never-ending labyrinth of neon lights and music clubs inspire many of my paintings. My more organic work represents unique colourful flowers mixed with the surreal lighting of fluorescent tubes. As I'm aware of the various ecological challenges and economic problems of today’s world, I constantly insist on spreading a positive message through my art. One of my favourite projects was a structure we painted, my fiance Frankie and I in Seoul for the International Flowers Festival. This is definitely something I want to develop but I need to find the good opportunity."
