Sophie Mess creates murals with a simple but powerful mission: to bring colour and cheer to grey urban landscapes. “Painting oversized, bold, vibrant flowers in these places– people just enjoy them,” she says. “I love it when someone says ‘this really brightens up my commute’ or ‘you’ve put a smile on my face today’. It’s a joyful act, and if they’re bringing a bit of positivity to the world, that can only be a good thing.”

We helped Sophie install a giant mural in Shoreditch featuring her signature style, with the process content running across the Evening Standard and ES Mag in print, as well as long form video content published online through digital and social channels.
